The slogan "Goonies never die", is loudly proclaimed in the movie that inspired this poster. This neat art print resonates with me on a few levels. Of course as child of the era of Goonies, I am fan. The movie might be a bit cheesy, but it is a classic kids adventure comedy, with a required love story. Beyond nostalgia of the movie, there is the distant Haystack Rock. Iconic for all those that love the Oregon coast. Most of the year the Northwest coast is a visual affair. The ocean is cold, the wind is an almost constants force to recon with. But the Oregon coast is truly beautiful and one can enjoy the striking visuals all year round.
The only thing that makes me sad is I didn't get to grab one of these prints before it sold out. Oh well. Next time.
