You are getting sleepy as you are drawn deeply into the center of this multi-color linocut. The transparent black acts like silhouettes against the bright colors in the background. The patterns run the gamete from sharp angles to swooping curves. There is some very fractal about the chaos of this print and I find it ultimately pleasing.
This print is part of the Lunch Money Print's 2019 Print exchange. Print exchanges are a great way for printers to share their work. The editions for this exchange were 11 original prints. One print was kept for sale and the remaining 10 were sent, randomly, back to other artists. I took part in this print exchange and I am signed up for the 2020 LMP print exchange as well.
